Condolence Statement Issued by the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine
We extend to the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, to the leadership of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, to its cadres and supporters, to the families of all the martyrs, and to the dear brotherly Lebanese people, our warmest and sincerest condolences on the martyrdom of the great jihadi commander Haitham Ali Al-Tabatabai (Sayyed Abu Ali), who was targeted by a spiteful “Israeli” occupation airstrike in the southern suburb of Beirut, along with a group of his mujahid brothers and several civilian martyrs.
We affirm that the policy of assassinations the enemy seeks to impose in Lebanon, Gaza, and the occupied West Bank is yet another testament to the savagery of the usurping entity and to its inability to achieve decisive outcomes despite two years of crimes, massacres, and genocidal aggression across multiple fronts.
The enemy fully realizes that these crimes will not grant it victory nor secure its survival, despite the atrocities committed, and that the immense pain it has caused hundreds of thousands of families will only fuel greater steadfastness and resistance.
The enemy knows that its bloody policies will never weaken the Resistance, but will only reinforce its adherence to the rights of its peoples—foremost among them the right to resist aggression.
On this occasion, we reaffirm our solidarity with our brothers in the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and with the dear Lebanese people.
